The Priory

Bistro, cafe and cocktail bar. Booking that finally works.

Before.

A French bistro, a cafe and a cocktail bar on Church Street, with their own gin behind the bar. The website was a Wix page with a footer stuck in 2022.

You could not even book a table.

What was wrong

  • 'Book a Table' went to a placeholder page. You could not actually book.
  • The menus page was five buttons and not one dish. No plates, no prices.
  • A stock template, and pages with almost nothing on them.

What was missing

  • The room. The glow of the bar, the tables, the waistcoats. None of it on the site.
  • The gin. Their own Clouded Leopard, buried in a paragraph.
  • The proof. No diner quotes on the page, just one badge from 2023.

After.

First lookWine and gold, their own winged crest, and live hours under the headline. It looks like the room at last.

The menuFive menus on the page, 48 dishes and drinks, prices included. Nothing to download.

The bookingGuests, day and time, checked against their real hours. Then straight to OpenTable to confirm.

The barAfter dark: cocktails at a flat £13, and the owner's own Clouded Leopard gin.

The proof4.6 on google. 4.6 on Tripadvisor. 4.8 on OpenTable. Their diners, in their own words.

If the room looks better than the website, let's put that right.
